The straight debate

With straight hair rumoured to be next Autumn/Winter 2010's biggest hair trend, I'm working on a feature for an upcoming issue on the subject of straight vs texture. For the last few seasons it's been all about curls, waves and dishevelled texture, so I find it hard to believe that clients are suddenly going to go back to the laborious, flat-ironed look.

Personally I love bedhead curls like Georgia May Jagger's, above, but poker straight, shiny locks like Gwyneth Paltrow's definitely have the edge when it comes to looking elegant.
