The real story behind gisele's balenciaga buzz cut

The internet has been a-buzz this week with the release of Gisele's new Balenciaga campaign, which sees the supermodel sporting a super-short, androgynous cut. We've seen plenty of pictures of Gisele on Instagram during the World Cup - all of which show her with her usual long blonde locks. So, what's the story behind the shoot? Stylist Anthony Turner told Yahoo! what really went on behind the scenes on set...

We hired the help of the fantastic SFX professional Jane Choi. She helped to fit a bald cap on Gisele, which allowed [creative director] Pascal Dangin and [photographer] Steven Klein to see the actual proportions of Gisele’s head. Then I did the haircut on a stand in model and Pascal, who is also a master retoucher, put the haircut over Gisele’s bald cap in post-production."
