With a new Marilyn Monroe biopic hitting the screens, we look at the celebrities who've copied the original blonde bombshell's iconic hairstyle.As Michelle Williams receives rave reviews for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn, we take a look back at the stars who have attempted to emulate the Hollywood legend's trademark bright blonde voluminous curls.
A vintage look synonymous with old-school glamour, it's no surprise that this look has remained a favourite for stars attempting to emulate some classic silverscreen style.

"I'm not a fan of this style on Katherine. Although I can see the look that she is going for I think it falls short. Yes, it's a take on a bouncy 1950's set but the key to Marilyn's hair was her perfect peroxide blonde and I don't think Katherine's blonde is a striking enough shade to pull it off. I also think that the lift at the front of the style accentuates her deep forehead. Not quite Marilyn enough for me I'm afraid!"
