The ghd Style Squad’s talent shone through as they rounded off their year by presenting on stage at their Leavers’ Show this month.
It was exactly a year ago that ghd launched its new talent-spotting initiative ‘The ghd Style Squad’ and recruited 17 young stylists from around the UK to enjoy a ‘money can’t buy’ opportunity with the world famous styling brand. The team has had an amazing twelve months, taking part in photoshoots, styling at consumer and trade events and enjoying mentoring sessions with ghd’s UK creative director Zoe Irwin. To celebrate their year and to demonstrate how far they’ve come and how much they’ve learned, the team put on a ‘Leavers’ Show’ at ghd’s Dean Street studio in Soho and invited along their salon owners, friends and family to share it.
Outgoing Style Squad member Natalie Mills from The Colour Room, Stockport said: “It’s been the best year of my career by far. I’ve done so much, learned such a lot and met such incredible people. I’m so much more confident and skilled than I was before and I feel focussed and driven to continue the journey.”
