The fellowship hold afro hairdressing masterclass with junior green

Ten hairstylists recently had the chance to enjoy a hands-on workshop with a lineup of Afro experts, in the
Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Afro masterclass.
The evening was hosted by
Junior Green at his Kensington salon, West London. Joining Junior were Desmond Murray, Lathaniel Chambers for Avlon, Michelle Thompson from the Francesco Group and Wayne Shorter-Campbell from Errol Douglas.
Each expert was teamed with two attendees, for a deeply educational masterclass, which all aspects of working with Afro hair types. The hairstylists learned how to blow-drying tight, textured curls for a smooth finish,
men’s hair insights, the art of braiding and cutting Afro hair.
Junior Green commented on the night: “Afro hair is my passion, and passing on that passion and knowledge to other hairdressers is one of the best parts of my job. Working with the other four Afro specialists and seeing their interpretation of various techniques was incredible. It was a great pleasure to host this inspiring workshop at my salon.”
