Central training group awarded matrix standard for quality training Central Training Group, a hairdressing training organisation based in Essex and East London have won official recognition for offering an excellent atmosphere for both those learning and staff. The group, who run Central Hairdressing Academy in Essex and Joshua Galvin Academy in East London, has been re-awarded the prestigious Matrix Standard. The Matrix Standard is a quality framework for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and guidance which supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals. Staff were told by Matrix assessors that there was a 'great energy and focus within the organisation'. The in-depth report also stated that the culture was team-based with all levels of staff working closely together to produce an inviting, motivating and supportive atmosphere for student. Martin Kolton, MBE, chairman of Central Training Group said: “I have spent much of my career championing apprenticeships and the delivery of outstanding training to young people. My commitment and passion for training is shared by my whole team and I am delighted that this has been recognised by the assessors and we have once again been awarded the Matrix Standard."
