Nestor Sanchez from the HOB Academy; Jonathan Turner from Hooker & Young; Jasmin Giamattei from Marc Antoni; George Curran from Errol Douglas; Jamie Benny from Rush and Liam Robinson from Michelle Griffin took to the stage to demo their favourite techniques including cutting, Avant Garde and Editorial.
Before the Masters took to the stage we saw David Drew interviewing Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year Andy Heasman and Tina Farey. They spoke about their own personal influences and the philosophy behind being part of Rush as well as showcasing some of their favourite work.
The Fellowship then welcomed The Masters to the stages.
First up, Four times British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi who demonstrated his signature precision cutting techniques whilst speaking about the importance of creating a look that is both statement and wearable.
It was then time to move onto some men's hairdressing with Joe Sloan from The Feds demonstrating his concept of grown out hairstyles. With over 12 years’ experience he created a MOD inspired look with dual texture.
Following Joe was the award winning Cos Sakkas from Toni&Guy progressing his winning BHA collection. Stepping away from his comfort zone of cut and colour, Cos worked with an editorial and intricate hair up look.
Working opposite Cos was Cristiano Bascui, Artistic Director from Richard Ward, who showcased the famous Chelsea Blowdry which he transformed into a head turning evening style.
It was then over to Johnny Shanahan from Barber Barber UK who mixed psychobilly with pompadour in his barber shop inspired look using both over direction and graduation.
Completing the fantastic line up was Leonardo Rizzo from Sanrizz Academy with his short haircut representing the brands Freedom Collection.
