The alternative hair show announces imagine for 2020

The restrictions brought about by the pandemic have meant the Alternative Hair Show and Visionary 2020 cannot take place in the same way they have done since 1983 so the show has taken on a new format With the support of Anthony Mascolo, the Alternative Hair Show Global President the event founder Tony Rizzo, the team have created IMAGINE, a solution that allows the organisation to reach hairdressers across the globe. On Sunday 11 October a 'socially distanced few' will host the online event and communicate with the audience. There will be opportunities throughout the evening to see presentations displaying the creativity of teams all over the world. During the event the hosts will also be announcing the winner of the visionary awards live on-screen. So, all that you have to do is imagine you're in the room.

An opportunity to give back with IMAGINE

The organisation has consistently supported research programmes around the world and families with children are suffering from blood cancer. To stay true to Alternative Hair's values the audience will be asked to donate to the charity Fighting Leukaemia. This year, the organisation will also be giving back to their supporters. They're offering the chance to be transported back in time as all 38 of the past shows have been made into videos, with the footage being made available to the new Alternative Hair Community.
