Tea party chic at burberry beauty launch
If I was ever to land an invite to a tea party hosted by Burberry in swanky Beverly Hills, eazy, breezy luxe glamour would probably be the dress code I'd aim for.
Luckily for celebs like Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Rachel Zoe, the effortless look comes rather easily.
Dressed in swathes of girly lace, stylish stars flocked to the chintzy event held, strangely, in the picturesque gardens of Tom Cruise's former mansion. The jolly English party was held to celebrate the launch of Burberry's new beauty line.
Both Kate and Lake manage to nail just-rolled-out-of-bed hair and, somehow, make it look effortlessly chic. Perhaps it's the addition of couture frocks that does it.
Meanwhile, super stylist extraordinaire Rachel Zoe opted for her usual crinkly waves, paired with enormous sunglasses. All the better for making you look skinny, eh Rachel? The woman responsible for creating Nicole Richie's boho reinvention and introducing the concept of 'huge handbags to make you look skinny' chic, Zoe gets laidback LA styling spot on, however annoying she is.
Finally, Glee star Jayma Mays ditched the preppy look for an elegant Burberry number, matched with a bouncy little blow-dry.
