Talent on show at wella trend vision

I know I'm still new to this industry, but I have, in the last six months seen a lot of hair. I've attended and taken notes at seminars and shows by some of the biggest names in hairdressing and I am often amazed at the creativity, drive and talent out there. This week I was lucky enough to be a judge at two heats of the Wella Trend Vision competition, in Glasgow and Bolton, and, once again, I was bowled over by the amazing standard of work. The looks created by the 30 competitors at each heat were particularly impressive considering none of the stylists were over the age of 30. The results were a diverse collection of styles, interpreting four key trends - Nordic Serenity, Rustic Deluxe, Sensual Intrigue and Pop Couture. Judging by the wealth of talent on show at both regional finals, the future of the industry is in safe hands. Matthew @HJi
