Showcasing some of the latest industry techniques, the day consisted of demonstrations and a guest speech from Sassoon’s UK Colour Director, Edward Darley, who shared his tips on expert colour application, cutting and finishing methods.
The Colour Specialists tried out step-by-step methods for some of the latest colouring techniques including the marbling effect, which uses Wella Colour ID to paint pearlescent colours onto the hair freehand.
Becci Mills, Head of Education at Supercuts, said: “The day provided an excellent opportunity for our colour experts to get really creative, with demonstrations and hands-on workshops to test out their new skills. With guidance from Supercuts creative director Kieron Fowles, our stylists have learnt a number of exciting new techniques to take back and try out in salon.”
Supercuts colour specialists are trained in partnership with industry colour experts Wella, to the highest level of technical expertise and creativity in colour. The programme takes stylists through advanced colour application, specialist techniques and product knowledge to ensure they have all the tools to provide the best styling and colour advice.
