Blow-dries are back, and this season it's all about volume and movement. The French fashion house Chloe has always been renowned for a demure, expensive style, and this season's chic camel coats and toffee-hued cashmere ooze a simple luxury that's reflected in the hair - both through colour palette and texture. "This look really portrays Chloe's signature style," says Herman Ho of Headmasters, London. "The bouncy, blown-out Charlie girl hair really captures the 70s American attitude to complete the look.
"To recreate the style, apply mousse and texture spray to towel-dried hair and rough dry, until about 70% of the hair is done. Next, starting from the front, dry section by section, working back towards to the nape. Blow-dry from the roots to create volume, then tuck the ends of the hair through your brush, and roll back - ensuring you use half the length of the hair, to create minimal curls. Once you finish a section, roll back and set it with clips. Keep a side parting, then brush all the curls out with a Mason Pearson brush."
