Style hits - and misses - at the brits

The stars hit the red carpet last night and brought Cool Britannia to London. The Brits celebrated the best in music -- and the winners looked good too. Hosted by a gorgeous Kelly Osbourne who was sporting a new elfin hair cut, the evening kicked off with the eclectic Beth Ditto. Sarah Harding wowed the crowds with a slicked back quiff, while bandmate Cheryl tweedy went back to her WAG days with long voluminous locks. Leona Lewis brought some Hollywood glamour to the cold capital and winner Mark Ronson and Kaiser Chief's fontman Ricky Wilson led the trend for side partings and slick styles. However, not everyone got it right.

While Amy Winehouse oozed cool her beehive was bigger than ever and looked like it was too heavy for her miniscule frame. Kylie sang 'wow' but her hair colour certainly wasn't -- too blonde and roots you couldn't take your eyes off. Overall though they all looked great -- see what Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck has to say in next week's issue. Ruth@HJi x
