Stephen Low and the Neville Salon team were recently invited by L’Oréal Professionnel to style the debut couture show from British designers,
Ralph & Russo.
The London-based label were invited to join the prestigious
Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture last year, making them the first British brand to have a place on the coveted Paris Couture schedule since 1915.
"It was wonderful to work with Ralph & Russo on this ground breaking show in Paris," said Stephen. "Their work is so stylish and feminine with clean lines. It was one of the most beautiful shows during Haute Couture week and it was a proud moment for us as a team from London."
Here, Stephen tells more about how he got the look...
The inspiration: The strong lines and silhouette, beautifully crafted tailoring and utter femininity of the embellishment inspired a very sleek hair look.
The look: Folded, sculpted chignons
Get the look: The hair was prepped with L’Oréal Professionnel tecni.art Pli and blow-dried in the direction that we wanted to style it. We put in a low side parting and took one section aside. The remaining hair was brushed back into a low ponytail using tecni.art Fix Design, and the side panel swept back and secured. The lengths were then gathered in a fine hairnet and folded into a sculpted chignon and finished with Infinium spray.
