Styled by celebrity stylist, Renato Campora, Kate Winslet stepped out to this weekend's SAG awards looking stunning in a simple but elegant, Giorgio Armani gown.
In order to compliment her outfit, Campora envisioned a modern take on a chignon for the star, showcasing her plunging neckline.
To create the red-carpet-ready look, Campora prepped her hair with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydrocream Whip (£23.50) to build volume, then applied Marula Oil Rare Treatment Oil (£33.95) “to achieve beautiful and shiny hair,” he says.
Using the Neuro Dry (£99.95) and a round brush, Campora dried Winslet's hair in pieces. He then separated her hair into top and bottom sections. The bottom was secured in a low-slung ponytail, and then split into four pieces that Campora twisted and wrapped around each other for the base of the chignon.
Next, Campora prepped the top section of hair with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray (£20.50) for additional movement before wrapping around the bun, pinning hair in place and securing it with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Finishing Spray (£19.25). He then layered with Awapuhi Wild Ginger Shine Spray (£20.50) for a show-stopping sheen.
