Stars going for gloss at peter pilotto for target launch party

Taylor Schilling, Dree Hemingway, Alexa Chung and Diane Kruger turned up the gloss factor at the Peter Pilotto for Target launch party, which kicked off the New York Fashion Week season. Actress Taylor opted for an undone ponytail, with loose curls through the lengths and in the face-framing tendrils. A ponytail was a good option for showcasing that spectacular Peter Pilotto number with shoulder cut-outs, but that piecey fringe has my hairbrush hand twitching - wish she'd pushed it to the side before the camera clicked! For Dree, it was a smooth and sleek centre-parted look after her previous swoosh. It's a lucky lady that can make a smooth centre parting work just as well as a voluminous side sweep, but that's Dree for you - enviously beautiful with versatile hair to boot. A hint of movement through the ends balances the mood of the rest of her outfit. Alexa opted for a high-shine take on her usual bedhead waves. Much as I love her usual laidback looks, this impossibly glossy finish really shows off her colour and adds a super-glam finish to her relatively casual red carpet outfit. Oh, to wake up with this hair. Completing the stylish foursome was the immaculate Diane Kruger, who is always a hair favourite of mine for her constant style evolution and dedicated to a good updo. Here she's kept things relatively simple with a centre-parted slicked-back bun - but really what else would work with that insane print? Peter's outfits just cry out for a sleek and simple do as seen at previous fashion week shows which we've reported from.
