Stars get punked for the met ball 2013

When Hollywood do a theme, they really go to town. For the fashion industry's 'Night of Nights' --The Met Ball -- there were no naff outfits and cheap wigs from eBay. The stars pulled out all the stops wearing Gucci, Dior and Chanel punk-esque frocks combined with radical hair changes and fresh facial piercings. First of all on the best tressed list... (Queen) Sarah Jessica Parker.
Not only does she get full marks for effort, but what about that STUNNING Mohawk headpiece? The Philip Treacy adornment gave the whole look a royal-punk edge. With her hair simply pulled back sleek and smooth, SJ let the clothes do the talking. And if you're wearing Giles Deacon and Louis Vuitton -- why not hey?!SJ, we salute you. God Save The Queen!
No sooner had we discussed Nicole's mum-fringe and haircut, does she go and pull out all the stops with this natty 'do. Bravo Nicole! Unlike some ladies that attended the Met Ball (Blake Lively / Alexa Chung / Beyoncé), Nicole embraced the theme fully and used it to show off her gorgeous skin tone and petite features. I would love to know how she got the hair that colour. Is it a wig? Whatever it is, it's amazing. Even the texture has an ethereal quality to it, almost like cobwebs. In a good way though.
Like most of the population apparently, I'm not that fussed about Anne Hathaway. She's okay, she's got nice hair and has been in some alright films, but she's never really set my heart on fire with her style choices.
I love her short hair, think it's fab and something she should have done years ago, it still felt a bit boring though.
Well... Haters, listen up! Check out Miss Hathaway with newly bleached tresses that would make platinum princess, Miley Cyrus, weep with envy. She's been careful to stay away from the ice tones and embraced this warm, vanilla shade beautifully. I think Anne looks brilliant!
