An A-list line-up of musicians entertained the crowds at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball 2010. Stars including Kylie, the Black Eyed Peas, and X Factor star Diana Vickers all took to the stage at London's O2 arena for the show.
And it seemed as though retro hairstyles were the order of the day, as many of the performers opted for backcombed beehives, retro rolls, and elegant accessories.
Pop star Duffy stuck to her vintage vixen style with a Bardot-inspired half updo, with an additional velvet bow and softly curled lengths. I love the style, but I don't think her roots work with the look - I'm all for adding a grungy edge, but this just looks messy to me.
Kylie also opted for a retro updo, using hairpieces to create a voluminous ponytail, complete with braided base. With her white dress and glamorous makeup, Ms Minogue has a real snow queen vibe going on with this look.

Nicole Scherzinger is still rocking her unusual alien updo, complete with retro rolls and short blunt fringe. Her hair also looks slightly crimped around the front, adding yet another dimension to this alternative style. Somehow, she carries it off!
Fergie from the Black Eye Peas bought some Californian glamour to the stage, with a 70s-inspired look. Her long boho waves were topped off with a leopard-print felt fedora, with bug-eye sunglasses completing the look.

X Factor star Diana Vickers wore her long blonde locks in a scruffy bun, with loose curly tendrils framing the face. Volume on the top and unfinished ends keep this style low-key and modern, for a look which works really well with her velvet TBA dress.
And Girls Aloud songstress Nadine Coyle also stuck with the vintage theme, with this mane of ringlets, swung over one shoulder in true old school Hollywood style.
