Spencer's calendar girls pose for charity

Liza Schwarz, owner of Spencer’s hair salon in  Peterborough recently organised a Calendar Girls photoshoot to support Phoenix special needs school,  which her son Spencer attends,  along with Cancer Research and HABB. Liza called on her colleagues and hairdressing friends along with some of the mums of the children and young adults from Phoenix. So far more than  £3,000 in sponsorship has been raised for the calendar. Said Liza: “The calendar was created to raise disability awareness and for us to have some fun and to raise money for some great charities, thanks to everyone that took part to make it happen and to all our sponsors” Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton has endorsed the calendar and will be signing copies at Salon International when the calendar first goes on sale. Liza is dedicated to raising disability awareness in the hair and beauty industry and has raised £60,000 through fundraising.
