Smooth You Town Spa in East London is the second addition to the Smooth You Group; a salon chain offering hair, beauty and tanning as well as education through live demonstrations. The 5,000 sq ft space in Dalston Square is set to become a true destination hair and beauty spa, with a £1.5million spend ensuring the space truly has the wow factor. Dalston has transformed in recent years from a grungy East End suburb to the heart of London's fashion and art communities - earning itself the title of 'coolest place in the UK' from Vogue in the process. However despite the redevelopment of the area and its cosmopolitan community, Dalston was lacking a high-end hair and beauty retreat until Smooth You Town Spa moved in. Aiming to replicate the success of the original Angel Smooth You salon on a much larger scale, Smooth You Town Spa prides itself on bringing the feel and experience of a West End Spa to the East End. Sitting within a newly developed residential build alongside restaurants, bars and bakeries, Smooth You Town Spa was designed by Melvyn Allen and is finished in chic neutral shades with high-end soft furnishings and an attention to detail typical of Melvyn's fit-outs.
