Sisterly style with the olsen twins

The Olsen twins have been in the public eye since they made their screen debut at nine months old, but they've become more famous for their personal style than their on-screen appearances.Mary-Kate and Ashley divide opinion at times, but they're never out of the fashion mags and have thousands of fans on style blogs worldwide - most famously, the ultra-devoted Olsens Anonymous.
Says Leo Bancroft, "While their fashion choices are seen by many as being a little out there, style icons the Olsen twins rarely put a foot wrong when it comes to their hair. The pair have been wearing the dishevelled, slightly boho, bedhead look for years. And they are only 24!"
Usually seen with golden blonde locks, complete with grungy roots, it came as a bit of a surprise when Ashley opted for a gothic shade of brunette - although it did make it a little easier to tell the two apart! Says Leo, "The California girls are best as blondes but both have experimented - from pastel panels to brunette. While they have the colouring to carry off the darker tones, I think they are without a doubt at their most gorgeous as sun kissed blondes."When it comes to styling, the twins have tried just about everything. "Hollywood, Bohemian, glamorous, off duty, whatever look they try they pull off with ease, and still look effortlessly cool," explains Leo. "As well as their signature tousled waves, they like to try out interesting styles from time to time and incorporate trends such as plaits, colour, accessories, multi textures and updos."
