Session hairdressing isn't all glamorous!

Working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, travelling the world working with supermodels and beautiful people may all sound glamorous, but being a session stylist means hard work, dedication - and being able to deal with anything that comes your way. The Wella Professionals team who were working on the Michael Van Der Ham show were ready to create long smooth layers for the show.

Some of the models came straight from the Topshop Unique show earlier that day, so the team had just 45 minutes to transform backcombed, extended, crimped and textured hair into smooth tresses. An hour later, the models had been primped and preened, spray tanned, made-up and manicured and striding the runway. All in a day's work!
