Whatever you call it, two-tone hair is en vouge

You learn something new everyday. Talking to Paul Merritt yesterday, he suggested a balyage look would suit my hair. The name vaguely sounded familiar, but I couldn't think what it was. However, it's a look we all see everyday - and one that was all over the Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalks.

chanel.jpgMore commonly known as two-tone, or dip-dyed, it's a beautiful name for a beautiful effect and a word that hairdressers should use more often. I'm due to get my hair done next week and rather than go for all-over colour, will suggest the Balyage technique to my own colourist.
