Selena gomez - gorgeous hair, but what's next?

  Selena Gomez took to the red carpet at the 2013 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles looking undisputedly gorgeous, with long glossy waves and a slightly off-centre parting. While the actress looked as preened and perfect as any teen idol can be expected to, I can't help but feel slightly bored of this red-carpet style. We've seen an increase of updos at A-list events, but long and glossy waves seem to remain the norm for most celebrities. In a recent interview with the Guardian, Selena talked about how her role in Spring Breakers had helped people to seer her in a new, more mature light - and how her upcoming part in drama Rudderless is yet another chance to showcase the breadth of her talent. To really shake off her Disney princess persona, I reckon Selena needs to try something new with her style too. More of the mohawks and short cuts and less blow-dries, please.
