Scott pilgrim's leading ladies provide glamour for the geeks

The London premiere of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World was a surprisingly glamorous affair, as the film's leading ladies pulled out all the stops to prevent the comic book adaptation getting too geeky.

Twilight star Anna Kendrick opted for a low ponytail, which isn't particularly exciting. A wow-factor dress calls for simple hair, but this is just a tad too boring. On the plus side, we now know that Anna would look great with a bob - go on, do it!

Call me crazy, but I'm a big fan of Brie Larson's grungy texture and grown-out rootsProving that ex-Disney stars don't have to go down the long, wavy extensions route, Brie opted for a unique dress to go with her relaxed hair.

Ellen Wong makes her bigscreen breakthrough with Scott Pilgrim, and looked suitably glam on the red carpet. I love this textured blow-dry on her, so young and cool - top red carpet work, Ellen!

Finally, the film's leading lady, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Her prim and proper dress and elegant hairstyle are a world away from her grungy look in the film.
