Schwarzkopf professional creative competitions 2012
Scores of hairdressing from all over the UK descended upon the annual Schwarzkopf Professional Creative Competitions 2012. The two grand final events were held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and the Sheraton in London and teams were competing for the esteemed titles of: Overall Team Winner; Best Male Model; Best Colour Model and Best Presented Team.
The creative teams, made-up purely of salon team members (strictly no salon owners or creative directors allowed!), spent the entire day prepping four models to win over the judges. The talented finalists presented their interpretations of the Schwarzkopf Professional Essential Looks Flux Collection.
The Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team 2012 also took to the stage for their first presentation of the year. Each of the talented YATs showcased their take on their favourite Essential Look and what a job they did! Fantastically confident and with superb hair work, you would think they had been presenting on stage forever as they performed with such ease and professionalism.
With sell out audiences of 250 at each venue, and with teams supported by coach-loads of their friends and families the atmosphere was electric.
"These events bring out the very best of British hairdressing with young talent mixed with unbridled enthusiasm for fashion and hair, this Schwarzkopf Professional annual event attracts incredible levels of interest and skill and it's great for us to see our own Essential Looks through the eyes of the hairdresser," commented Nick Biggane, Schwarzkopf trade marketing manager.
