The Saunder Autumn/Winter 2014 show celebrated heritage hair techniques; HJ’s correspondent Caroline Simionescu-Marin from Herra Haircare was there to work on the team and report on the hair look.
The show: Saunder Autumn/Winter 2014
The hair team: Matthew Curtis creative team
The look: Fingerwaves
The inspiration: Vintage glamour
Get the look: Hair was wrapped around the head in preparation for wigs, with very little pins used throughout to keep hair in place.
Wigs were styled in fingerwaves using mousse and setting lotion, then dried it. Once set, a tong was used between the waves to create more of a sheen and solid finish.
To give hair a more edgy, graphic look, a flat iron was then used on some of the waves to clamp together and create a solid edge. Hair was finished with shine spray and freeze hold spray.
Notable points: Lot's of fur and foils. Fur will definitely be a huge aw14 trend.
