The extensive survey of over 1,500 UK hair and beauty professionals also revealed that Cheryl's eyelashes and eyebrows were the most in-demand amongst clients.
The leading professional hair and beauty supplier's research proved that the Geordie pop princess is consistently the UK's most influential celebrity, with 22% of the professionals that answered the survey revealing that she provides the most inspiration for their clients' hair.
In second place was Rihanna, whose ever-changing hairstyles provide inspiration for 10% of customers, according to respondents.
For male clients, David Beckham continues to be the main man, with 49% of male respondents saying their customers look to him for hairstyle inspiration - as well as 36% for facial hair and 17% for tanning.
As far as beauty trends are concerned, TOWIE star Amy Childs influenced 11% of tanning clients with Katie Price still inspiring 12% of customers.
Jessie J, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry dominate nail fashion, with over 20% of respondents revealing that their clients were inspired by pop princesses when it comes to on-trend talons.
Alan Revitt, commercial director of Salon Services UK & Ireland said: ""The hair
and beauty industry continues to innovate in order to keep up with new trends and looks,
which are changing with increasing frequency. It is interesting to see that favourites such as
Cheryl Cole and David Beckham continue to inspire across the country but that more
elaborate looks from the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga are becoming increasingly
popular."
