Salon international 2012 - day two product round up

The Diva Beach Curls Wand proved a surprise hit for the team at Salon Supplies, who originally brought the product with them to help visitors get ready for their photoshoot competition. However, when people started asking if they could buy the wand, Salon Supplies had them sent up overnight from their head office in Southampton, and expect to sell out by the end of the weekend. 

Babyliss Pro's V-Blade Clipper and Trimmer offer sharp, precision styling thanks to their Japanese steel blades. The Babyliss Pro stand was also selling plenty of curling wands and tongs, after Adam Reed used them on stage to demonstrate looks he created for the House of Holland fashion show.

With a bright and colourful stand, Bangstyle brought its new product range to Salon International.

Cloud Nine launched a new Waving Wand, which normally retails for £99.95. The tool is perfect for creating catwalk-worthy waves and features one-touch temperature control and a ceramic-coated barrel.

Another curl-creating tool on sale was the Diva Session Instant Heat Hot Pod, which quickly heats up flocked rollers for big, bouncy styles. The RRP for the HotPod is £79.99.

Earthly Body's luxurious massage candles produce a richly-scented wax that can be placed onto the skin and used as a massage oil (it doesn't burn - honest!)

Additional Lengths have taken on a new extensions brand - Remi Cachet. Used in the ghd hair show at Salon International, these extensions are made from high quality human hair, and can last up to 6 months. The are available in 18 colours, including mixed shades.

To demonstrate their sparkly hair strands, the team at Hair Dazzle invited ladies to have the product applied to their hair, creating a lovely Christmas party season look. 

Also giving demonstrations was Iso Beauty. These brightly-coloured straighteners from the brand feature 100% ceramic, flexible plates and fast heat up speeds.

Doing it for the boys, Jack Dean were present with a range of stylist grooming products.

Over at the Kerastraight stand, the audience learnt more about their smoothing treatments. The team were also promoting Kerastraight products such as the Moisture Mask and Protein Mask.

Majestic Towels were at Salon International with microfibre, chlorine-resistant towels. These towels have fast washing and drying times, which mean they are proving popular as energy bills rise since the cut down on gas and electricity usage.
