Sassoon host tribute to vidal at salon international 2012

Hairdressers from across the globe are paying their respects to Vidal Sassoon at Salon International 2012 by signing a memorial book and leaving their memories of the hairdressing legend on a tribute wall. 

By the end of day one, the wall was already full of messages in countless languages of how Vidal inspired, educated and encouraged hairdressers from across the globe.The memorial wall also featured a digital feed of all tweets tagged with #ilovevidal - the official hashtag from Sassoon Academy for hairdressers wishing to pay their respects over the weekend. 

Also on display were some of Vidal's most iconic images and footage from last year's documents; Vidal Sassoon: How One Man Changed the World with a Pair of Scissors.
