After wowing the crowd at the Alternative Hair Show, Andrew Collinge brought his two minute updo - created with one pin - to the HJ stage at Salon International.

Andrew jokingly called the style the perfect recession updo - with no tools required other than one hair grip.

After showing off the style and revealing a few top tips, Andrew demonstrated how easy the technique is by inviting volunteers on stage to have a go.

The secret? A long, thick pin - and a download of the Andrew Collinge app!

Next to the stage was Mahogany, who presented highlights from their brand new collection, Duality.

The clean cuts and precision colours evident in the collection were inspired by designer Raf Simons, artist Mondrian and Copenhagen Fashion Week.

One quote in particular from Raf Simons served as a basis for much of the collection - the idea that maximalism is the new minimalism.

Focussing on the idea of juxtaposition, short sharp shapes contrasted against soft texture and rounded lines with fluid disconnection.
