Saks hair and beauty celebrates 40th year with four new salons

Saks Hair and Beauty is kicking off a year of 40th anniversary celebrations with four new salons - and further expansions planned throughout the year. A new salon has already opened in the bustling Lancashire market town of Poulton, with Northallerton and Cheadle set to open in March. Finally, Kenilworth is due to open in April. Stephen Kee, managing director, comments: "Saks Hair and Beauty was founded in 1974, as one salon in the north east of England. Over the last four decades we've gone from strength-to-strength, always moving with the times to emerge as the award-winning international hair and beauty salon group and top training provider that we are today. He continues: "We’re all thrilled to announce that these salons are opening at this time. 2014 is all about celebrating SAKS 40 and also welcoming new, like-minded individuals to our network to contribute towards taking our business forward." And the new salons are… Saks Hair & Beauty Poulton-le-Fylde The owners of the successful Saks Lytham salon, Natasha Langthorne and Natalie Baker, have had their eyes on Poulton in Lancashire for some time and they opened their second salon on Breck Road in the town on 17 January. Saks Hair & Beauty Northallerton From March Saks Northallerton moves to a brand new site just along the road from its current spot. There’s a spacious, deluxe Saks hair salon on the ground floor and upstairs is dedicated totally to the world of Saks beauty. Saks’ Head of Beauty, Kirsty Jewson, becomes beauty franchisee and Saks art team member, Katie Adamson, becomes franchisee for hair. Saks Hair & Beauty Cheadle Danny Jarega and his team of stylists and beauty therapists at Saks within the David Lloyd Health Club in Cheadle are excited at the thought of opening a second salon in the town. When the opportunity arose, Danny jumped at the chance to bag a spot for a further salon on Cheadle High Street. Doors are due to open during March 2014. Saks Hair Kenilworth And Saks is thrilled to welcome a pre-eminent new hairdresser to its network – yet to be revealed. The brand’s new franchisee has worked for other big names in the world of hairdressing and session styled for the glossies including Vogue and Elle.  He’s set to open Saks Kenilworth during April.
