Yorkshire salon group Russell Eaton is celebrating 35 years of industry success, having grown from a small room above a shop to one of leading chains in the North of England.

The family-run business was established in 1978 by Russell Eaton and has continued to celebrate a close-knit partnership with son Robert now taking the reigns as creative director and daughter Isobel leading the artistic team.

Over the years the salon have won countless awards and accolades, including being selected as one of the top five salons in the UK for colour by Harpers Bazaar and entering the record books as one of only two salons to win the L'Oreal Colour Trophy twice.

This year also sees the brand build on its rich hairdressing heritage by investing in the future of upcoming stylists as they partner with White Rose Beauty to launch a new training facility, The Hairdressing Academy for the Elite.

Creative director Robert says: "This is a really exciting time for Russell Eaton as we mark our 35th birthday, as well as welcoming the opening of major new shopping development, Trinity Leeds right next to our flagship salon. Our great heritage and everything we've learned throughout the years has been a major part of our salons' success, and we're looking forward to continuing to push the boundaries of creative hairdressing."
