The Rush Oscars took place for a second year at the Phoenix Theatre in London, celebrating the brand's successes over the last twelve months and handing out some well-earned awards.
Hosted by Rush international artistic director, Andy Heasman and international colour director, Chris Williams, the ceremony got underway with a speech from chairman, Andy Phouli. As well as announcing the launch of Rush Salon for M&S - a collection of eight styling products launching nationwide - Andy also declared that the brand is set to open 40 new salons in 2015, with 12 locations already confirmed.
The team was then informed of an exciting life-changing proposition; by taking a selfie with Andy Phouli after the awards and emailing it to him, they were in the running for a £250,000 prize in the shape of their own franchised salon.
As well as doling out awards across all aspects of the business, the night also saw two new inductions to the Rush Artistic Team. After 11 years of loyal service, Dale Herne was the first to be announced, quickly followed by
HJ's Newcomer of the Year, Jamie Benny who also picked up the award for Outstanding Achievement.
