Rush-live-1.jpgLondon's Piccadilly Theatre was transformed into an extravaganza of style and colour for the third annual Rush Live event, which saw the multi award-winning Rush artistic team launch its latest collection, Marvel, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

The audience was invited to delve into a dark world of turmoil as international artistic director, Andy Heasman and international colour director Chris Williams presented a series of collections inspired by four worlds; Interior Graphic, Exterior Graphic, Runway and Grunge.

Artistic team members Andy Heasman, Paola Pinto, Sam Burnett, Tina Farey and Simon Robson along with HJ's 2010 Southern Hairdresser of the Year, Seung Ki Baek also worked on models on stage to showcase final looks for the four collections.

Fashion from up and coming designer Lucy Kenney and London Fashion Week favourites Belle Sauvage complemented the mystical looks.

RUSH-Live-3.jpgRush Live kept a mystical atmosphere as Rush session members Tina Farey and Sam Burnett paid tribute to late fashion great Alexander McQueen with models portraying looks inspired by the designer.

The avant-garde styles were inspired by the designer's love of birds, with feather-like textures built up to sculpt the shape while retaining an element of softness.

Ending the evening, international creative director Stell Andrew told the crowd: "Thank you all for being such a fantastic audience and once again making Rush Live a tremendous success. Not only did we raise valuable funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital, we raised the roof at the Piccadilly Theatre."
