UNITE Hair and Salon Services have joined forces for 2026 Runway Ready. An exclusive two-day education experience offering hairstylists the opportunity to develop their session styling skills and secure a place backstage at London Fashion Week.
Created by internationally renowned session stylist and UNITE Global Creative Director Gary Baker, Runway Ready opens the world of Fashion Week to professionals at every stage of their career. Whether newly qualified, salon-based, freelance or experienced behind the chair, participants will gain the technical skills, confidence and industry insight needed to take their creativity beyond the salon floor.
Led by UNITE UK Creative Director and celebrated session stylist Narad Kutowaroo, the immersive course will bring the energy and excitement of backstage styling into the classroom. Participants will learn how to create runway-ready looks, work across a diverse range of hair types and textures, and collaborate effectively as part of a professional styling team.
Every participant who successfully completes the course will be guaranteed a place on the UNITE Hair styling team in collaboration with Salon Services at London and Paris Fashion Week.
The £700 course fee also includes a professional hairstyling kit worth more than £500, featuring a hairdryer, straightener, curling tongs, travel bag, tool belt and more. Attendees will also benefit from valuable industry experience, networking opportunities and career development.
Runway Ready is suitable for hairstylists of all experience levels based in the UK, Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. Participants must be fluent in English.
