Rooney mara shows off dip-dyed hair on set of the bitter pill

Rooney Mara seems to be having a run of bad hair days with her recent film choices - first of all her Girl with the Dragon Tattoo blunt fringe and bob and now a gingery-hued dip-dye on set of The Bitter Pill.
The actress showed off an ombre-style colour on the set of her new film, fading from a reddish brown to bright blonde lengths. A wavy finish and grown-out fringe completed the grungy look.
Rooney's new role sees her play a frazzled, prescription drug-addicted housewife awaiting her husband's release from prison - which perhaps explains the unkempt style she's sporting on set.
Unlike her Girl with the Dragon Tattoo cut and colour, this style at least appears to be a wig - so no more struggling to grow it out and look good on the red carpet at the same time!
