Antony Rawlings and the GO24•7 styling team created raffish English gents for the Richard James Spring/Summer 2016 show at London Collections: Men.
The show: Richard James Spring/Summer 2016
The hair team: Antony Rawlings and the GO24•7 styling team
The look: The raffish rebel - hair that was perfectly groomed but is now undone.
The inspiration: The show was inspired by the travels of English poet and explorer Edward James, who escaped strait-laced 1940s England for the Central American jungle. "The hair look was intentionally undone," said Antony. "As though our English gentleman began with a groomed look, but now emerges onto the catwalk straight from the jungle, just a little dishevelled. The key was in achieving volume and texture at the prep stage."
The key product: GO24•7 Hair Gel
Get the Look
1. Apply a two pound coin sized amount of GO24•7 Hair Gel liberally to damp hair, combing through with the fingers to create natural texture.
2. Blow-dry roughly, creating volume at the crown by pulling hair away from the scalp and applying heat directly at the roots. Scrunch hair for added undone, raffish charm.
3. Finally apply GO24•7 Texture Pastre throughout the lengths of the hair to create added definition, and blast dry with a cold dryer to set the look.
