The Q Awards is generally a pretty male-dominated affair, but at the 2010 show we were treated to a few stylish women, representing the more glamorous side of the music industry.
The female looks for the evening were split firmly in to this season's two contrasting colour stories; the natural, and the supernatural.
Corinne Bailey Rae looked quirky and cool in a slightly summery checked short suit, with her locks loose and naturally curly. Celebrating her return to the charts, Nadine Coyle wore particularly Cheryl-esque super lengthy extensions, with a glossy chestnut hue.
Meanwhile presenter Charlotte Church also kept things natural, but with less success. Her dishevelled tresses look more straggly than chic, and the lacklustre styling did little to complement the look.

Keeping colour creative at the other end of the spectrum, Florence Welch and Ellie Goulding made their mark with seriously bright hues. Flo's trademark red looks glossy and healthy, and although Ellie's varying shades of purple might not be to everyone's taste, I think she looks young and cool.
KT Tunstall also got experimental with colour, but I don't think she's pulled it off. The blonde chunk might have worked if it was more discrete, but sticking out of the side just looks silly, especially when the rest of her hair is in a cool side braid.
