The 2011 Pride of Britain Awards attracted a star-studded crowd, all glamming up in the name of a very good cause.
And while the attention was rightly on the deserved award-winners at this charitable celebration, the A-list guests didn't miss an opportunity to to dazzle on the red carpet.

Three of Girls Aloud were in attendance at the awards, with Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberly representing the girl group.
Cheryl's new blonde locks were styled in to a glamorous waved bob, oozing with shine and packed full of body. I wasn't convinced by this shade at first, but I love this look now.
Nicola stuck to her trademark big blow-out, complete with blonde dip-dye lengths and natural auburn shade on top.
Kimberly kept things simple with a low ponytail, allowing her sparkling earrings, dramatic eye makeup and plunging neckline to make a statement.

Tulisa opted for a side-swept updo, knotted in a large bun on one side of her head. While I'm not convinced by the highlights, I love this style on the X Factor judge - let's hope she gets more adventurous with her updos during the live shows.
Coleen Rooney wore her long brunette locks in a low ponytail, with volume throughout the crown, showing off the super-sparkly neckline on her dress.

TOWIE stars Sam Faiers and Amy Childs both chose long, voluminous curls for the evening event.
Sam showed off her new brunette shade with a super shiny finish, and hair simply styled with two strands pulled from around the face and secured at the back.
Amy styled her bright red locks in a similar swept-back style, instead opting for plenty of volume for a towering quiff.

Not to be outdone by half of Girls Aloud, two Spice Girls were also in attendance at the awards with Emma Bunton and Mel C representing the original all-singing, all-dancing girl band.
I love this creamy shade of blonde on Emma - especially with that bright red lipstick, but I'm not keen on the super-straightened locks which don't feel quite glamorous enough for the awards.
Mel C nailed red carpet glamour with tumbling waves in a super shiny finish. The loose spirals show off Sporty Spice's subtly dip-dyed lengths to perfection.

Both Elle Macpherson and Myleene Klass stuck to a red carpet classic - impossibly big, bouncy, tumbling waist-length curls.
It may not be a particularly imaginative A-list look, but for show-stopping glamour this look is hard to beat.

Giving tumbling curls a slightly more fsahionable twist, both Holly Valance and Tess Daly wore their waves styled over one shoulder for an asymmetric finish, reminiscent of classic old Hollywood looks.
