Stars of the small screen headed to London's O2 Arena last night for the 2011 National Television Awards, the annual celebration of top British TV talent. And with guests including Cheryl Cole, Tess Daly, and a new-look Kerry Katona hitting the red carpet, the event was a suitably stylish affair.

Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly showed off long blonde curls, which worked the romantic feel of her flowing pink gown. This laid-back, beachy style has a hint of Cameron Diaz to it, and Tess even makes the roots work - my only gripe is that stray chunk, which I think probably just got caught in the wind!
Cheryl Cole was on hand to pick up The X Factor's prize for most popular reality show. Her hair appears to be back to brunette after her dalliance with red last year. Sticking with her trademark big bouncy blow-dry and curls, Cheryl looked her usual glamorous self - even if her cut-out dress revealed a rather large new tattoo.

Also in attendance were TV's most stylish mums-to-be, Myleene Klass and Holly Willoughby. Both stars looked super-glam on the red carpet, with two very different looks.
Holly stuck to her usual tumbling blonde tresses, with plenty of body through the lengths and loads of movement, while Myleene wore a summery updo, complete with pearl headband.

Proving that the bun is still a popular red carpet choice, Strictly's Alesha Dixon and Eastenders' Lacey Turner both opted for variations on the top knot.
Alesha wore her hair in a slightly more tubular shape, creating a fat roll high on the top of her head, with oodles of shine for a perfectly polished finish. Lacey's look was slightly more bohemian, with twisted tendrils wrapped back on themselves to create a more textured finish.

Kerry Katona showed off her new slimline figure and elegant bob, emphasising the slightly asymmetric finish off her cut with a one-shoulder dress. While the outfit looks a bit too much like her ice-skating costumes for my taste, this cut looks great on Kerry - much improved!
Emma Bunton is yet another stylish mum-to-be, and she opted for a slightly 60s look last night, with a black lace mini-dress and furry coat. Completing the look, Emma wore her hair in a mini beehive, complete with curled tendrils styled over one shoulder.

Also opting for 1960s styles last night were Corrie's Michelle Keegan and Only Way Is Essex fave Amy Childs.
I'm not sure either starlet has really nailed the look, and although Amy's updo is much more glam than her usual styles, the plunging sequinned dress sort of defeated the sophisticated makeover!

Fearne Cotton has recently gone back to blonde, and combined with loose waves and oodles of texture, she looks like she's back to her rock chick best.
Surprisingly, I think my favourite look of the night has to be Stacey Solomon with her dramatic ombre lengths. Although they're fairly obviously extensions, I adore this mermaid look on Stacey, and it brings her bang up to date.
