Asymmetric styles proved a popular choice, lending an air of classic old-school Hollywood glamour to the soap stars' styles.
Both Bronagh Waugh and Sacha Parkinson opted for swept over styles, with Hollyoaks actress Bronagh combining curls with a sleek edge and Coronation Street's Sacha pinning her textured waves to one side.

Volume is always a popular choice with the glamorous girls of British soaps and super-sized tresses were in abundance at last night's event.
Two Coronation Street stars opted for big bouffant styles, but while Michelle Keegan's wavy shoulder-length locks look glamorous, I can't help but feel that Brooke Vincent's hair fallsa little flat.
Losing the centre parting and straightened panels around the face would improve this look - Michelle's swept-back quiff would be perfect on her.

The dip-dye look continues to be a favourite on the red carpet as well as on the catwalk and amongst fashionistas.
Chelsee Healey gave her tumbling curls an extra dimension with bright blonde tips, graduating from darker blonde roots. There's more than a hint of Beyonce to the Strictly star's style but that's no bad thing!
Also giving her lengths a colourful twist, Carley Stenson showed off bright red flashes through the under section of her her blonde locks. I'm not entirely convinced by the shade choice, but this technique shows the ideal way to do discrete colour - when piled in a ponytail the red is barely visible, but down creates a real statement.
