The award winning Rainbow Room International artistic team returned to T in the Park for a tenth year to host a pop-up salon backstage, providing haircuts and styling to the artists appearing during the three-day festival.
Stylists from the Great Western Road, Bearsden, Crow Road, George Square, Royal Exchange Square and Uddingston salons worked tirelessly tending to the tresses of the stars, including Paloma Faith.
As always, the salon proved to be the main attraction in the exclusive Artists' Village backstage with Twin Atlantic, Years & Years and The View all stopping by before their slots on stage for some pre-performance preening. While most of the stars opted for styling, those who were a bit braver, like Twin Atlantic frontman Sam McTrusty, opted for the chop in the skilled hands of the team.
In addition to their styling services, the Rainbow Room International team also provided some wardrobe assistance when Years & Years singer, Olly Alexander, arrived late to the festival. With no time to iron his top before his performance on the Radio 1 stage, the team cracked out the the straighteners in tried-and-tested fashion to iron out the creases in Olly's shirt ahead of the band's slot.
John Parker, Franchisee of Rainbow Room International Great Western Road says: "We were thrilled to be back at T in the Park for the tenth year running. As always, the salon proved to be extremely popular with visits from some of the headline acts. The bands loved having the pop up salon on site, with many of them commenting on how great it was for them to be able to nip in and chill out before taking to the stage."
