Inspired by rockabilly looks, quiffs work whether worn with a slicked-back wet-look androgynous finish or with a soft, textured unstructured feel.
Ideal for opening up the face and adding height to round face shapes, the quiff is an ideal option for hot nights and balmy beach breaks, keeping hair off the face and adding a relaxed finish to summer updos.

Gwen Stefani
"I'm a huge fan of the quiff - this 1950's-inspired, rockabilly style can still look edgy and contemporary today. To recreate the look, simply set the hair in rollers, then warm a small amount of wax in your hands and run through the hair, breaking up the curls to create texture. The height of the quiff adds drama and the loose texture gives it a more relaxed feel."

Cate Blanchett
"The quiff is a great way to turn a simple ponytail into a more style-conscious, high-fashion look. Incorporating a quiff, like Cate has done here, will add shape and height to any style - and it's quick and easy to achieve too. Cate's red carpet look opens up her eyes for an extremely flattering finish."

Carey Mulligan
"Carey's quiff is a style that's sweeping the hair scene at the moment. The soft texture teamed with sleek sides make for the perfect contrast, drawing the eye up to the focal point of the look while complementing her face shape perfectly. Quiffs can be easily adapted to all clients by playing around with the strength of shape, size and height, making it a versatile, wearable style. Carey's take on the trend is spot on, it ties in with her outfit and gives an effortless but glam feeling."

Cameron Diaz
"It's a case of There's Something about Mary happening all over again here for Cameron -
albeit updated for 2012. This playful and sexy quiff has been teased with hair left out to fall slightly on the side, making this style both dramatic and feminine. The look enhances Cameron's standout features, making her eyes pop. Combined with the colour, this is a great reflection of her young-at-heart, carefree Californian girl persona. Simply gorgeous!"
