Q hair and beauty superheroes raise funds for habb

The superheroes at Q Hair and Beauty in Chichester recently raised more than £125 for industry charity, HABB, by donning their capes and masks to make their services even more super than usual. Salon guests were greeted by Superman, Supergirl, Catwomen - yes, plural! - and even a mermaid, as staff dressed up and got in the spirit of things. Some team members showed off their design superpowers as well as styling skills, by hand-crafting costumes at home. The event also include a cakesale and, naturally, selfies with superheroes. All in all, £126 was raised for the hugely worthwhile hairdressing industry charity, HABB. Ben from the salon says: "Here at Q we like to support HABB, which is a charity for anyone in the industry that may fall upon hard times,” said Ben. “We hold frequent fundraising events for a variety of good causes and this time we decided on a superheroes day as we haven’t done that theme for a while – it was great fun and all our guests entered the spirit of the day."
