Hairdresser
"For this collection, I wanted to display strong, structured shapes that contradict the natural shape of the head and use intricate detailing to highlight the curvaceous creations. My inspiration came from deep within the tropical rainforest as I analysed vegetation and insects and their intricate textures and vibrant colours. Overall, it's an elegant look with a slightly sinister edge."

Photographer
"We used shadowing and smart reflections to conceal and reveal areas in the image. In this particular shot, working from left to right, the background is darker which then moves onto a lighter area of hair showing the intricate detail created by Jasmine. It then shadows out to a darker area on the hair and then displays a lighter background."

Make-up
"We wanted to achieve a saturated yet natural feeling to complement the style of the hair and work with the inspiration for the overall look. We achieved this finish by lightening the eyebrows and highlighting the face structure, which gave a soft ethereal feel next to the vivid green of the dress."
Jenna Jeffries
PR
"Dedication and creativity are at the core of what Rush Hair stands for, and the technical ability and precision finishing demonstrated in this style showcase these qualities perfectly. The attention to detail within the hair perfectly mirrors the garment to create a vibrant, youthful look which ensured this Newcomer of the Year image was a popular winner."
