The Project X 2012 students recently enjoyed an inspirational day of education with the TONI&GUY Educational team.
HJ's current London Hairdresser of the Year, Richard Mannah, presented to the group in the morning, followed by cut and colour demonstrations from Silje Vincent and Jane Stacey.
To round off the morning session, ex-FAME Team member and multi award-winning super-stylist Indira Schauwecker joined the group, much to the delight of the students.
In the afternoon, the group were set a brief by Gary France to create their own product and explain how they would research and market it. They worked on models together and presented moodboards, which were then presented to the group.
Project leader Karine Jackson said: "The guys produced the best moodboards that I've seen since I took over Projext C. Well done to all, and a huge thank you to the team and mentors at the TONI&GUY Academy. As always, they were wonderful hosts and truly inspirational."
Next month, the team will spend the day with Mark Hayes of Sassoon learning about hair design and enjoy a day with Caroline Cox learning about the history of hair fashion.
