Project X students recently spent a day with industry icon - and founder of the project - Zoe Irwin as they learnt how to launch themselves to the industry.
Joined by PR Harriet Evans, Zoe gave the group a masterclass in personal branding and what it takes to become a high-profile session stylist; from trend-spotting to backstage etiquette.
Zoe also shared the contents of her kit-bag and taught the students how to master four essential editorial techniques, while Harriet provided advice on how to create and promote their own brand.
Emma Fraser of Fraser Hairdressing commented: "I got to meet an idol of mine who I’ve watched for many years – and see into her kit-bag! She taught me a braid I’d been desperate to learn and how I can make my moodboards way more professional and Harriet helped me so much, too, putting me straight on how to get my brand off the ground. I loved it."
The next event in the Project X calendar is a shoot at the Bedhead Studios.
