Posh's 'pob' wins best hairstyle of the noughties
British women have voted Victoria Beckham's 'pob' haircut as their favourite style of the noughties.
Out of 1000 women, three quarters picked Posh's style in the head & shoulders poll aimed at consumers. I'm pretty surprised at this as I actually preferred her pixie crop but I suppose the pob is easier for most people to wear.
I also think that Victoria had a bit of an unfair advantage as her so-called pob is often displayed using one of several different styles that she wore within months of each other. These included a longer brunette bob and a short graduated blonde style with bob-style lengths to the front.
Even so, I personally prefer Dannii's X Factor bob to Posh's pob as I think it's more classic, glossy and versatile. She may have been too much of a late entry to be included in the noughties roundup though.
Other favourites in the poll included Agyness Deyn's crop, Sienna Miller's boho lengths and Cat Deeley's golden waves. Watch this space to find out which stars are making an impact this decade.
And talking of Beckhams, don't forget to vote for your favourite David Beckham hairstyle in our online poll. The winning looks will appear in the magazine during February 2010.
