Pink and red colour combos rule the smurfs red carpet

Jayma Mays at 'The Smurfs 2' film premiere, Los Angeles, America - 28 Jul 2013   The official colour of the The Smurfs 2 film premiere was blue, of course, but the two most stand-out looks for me were Jayma Mays and Bonnie McKee who risked my favourite colour combo; pink and red. Not always the easiest combination to pull off, it creates striking results when it does work - as Jayma demonstrates with her pretty red pony and hot-pink dress. If you thought her preppy dress sense was just for glee, this girly style proves that she's just as girly in real life as she is on the show.   Bonnie McKee at 'The Smurfs 2' film premiere, Los Angeles, America - 28 Jul 2013   Taking the pink and red combo to another level, Bonnie McKee opted for bright orange roots, blonde mid-lengths and pastel pink ends. On paper it sounds like a disaster, but the queen of quirk pulls it off. Bonnie has written songs for the likes of Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Ke$ha so it's perhaps no surprise that her personal style is as colourful as the chameleons she works with. Smooth locks create the perfect canvas to show off her dramatic colour gradient. @HJi_Rachael
